Bring the family out for a fun filled afternoon with your neighbors on Saturday, September 10th from 3:00 – 7:00 pm.

The Social Committee will have 5 food trucks available to purchase dinner and/or dessert at the event: 1812 BBQ, Q’s Culinary Cart (Hot dogs), La Patrona Del Sazon (Tacos), Abbott’s Frozen Custard, Sammy’s Snow Cones

We will be looking for many volunteers to help make this Festival a success. If you can help by signing up for a shift please be on the look out for a signup form to come soon!

Food Truck is coming to Summerwood this Wednesday Aug. 17th from 5:00 – 7:30pm. They do not do pre-orders, just walk up orders. They will be parked by the pool. It looks delicious and we can’t wait to try it!

The Social Committee will be playing “Clifford the Big Red Dog” on the big screen this Friday August 12th! We will start the movie at dusk (around 8:30). Come set up camping chairs and/or a blanket on the lawn by the pool and BYOP🍿if you wish. We will provide individually wrapped snacks and water. Hope to see you there!

2. Attached please find information regarding the proposed industrial site on Connell RD. Residents are encouraged to contact their Mint Hill elected officials to voice concerns and objections to this project.

3. Also attached is information regarding the subdivision to be developed on Bartlett Rd across the creek from the homes on Raven Top. The Board is working with the Developer regarding sewer easements.

4. The final attachment is the ACC Guidelines updated to include recently enacted language regarding the installation of solar panels. These guidelines supplement the CCR’s to provide residents with a better understanding of certain architectural requirements.

5. The Board has terminated the contract with Aquatech, the pool management company. Effective August 1st, Carolina Pool Management (CPM) will be providing cleaning services and pool maintenance only. There will be no lifeguards or attendants on duty and the pool will be open as Swim at Your Own Risk.

THE SUMMERWOOD TWEEN CHALLENGE 2022
⚠️SIGN UP NO LATER THAN JULY 20th⚠️

The Social Committee is excited to invite all Summerwood Tweens between the ages of 9 to 12 years old to participate in our 2022 Tween Challenge! The event will be at the Summerwood pool on Wednesday, July 27th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Tweens will participate in team challenges with randomly selected groups beginning at 6:00pm. Following the challenges snacks, sweet treats, and prizes will be given out. Participants should wear a swimsuit and bring a towel and goggles.

The Scarlett Property Group has a delicious treat for Summerwood residents on July 27th from 6:00 – 8:00pm.
